Felt Play Food

My newest project is here!!!!!!!!!! Felt Play Food! Sorry in advance for the picture quality as I have resorted to my Blackberry for pictures for the time being.  I've drawn up a few patterns and I listed a couple of things on my ETSY shop already.  Here is one of my favorites so far.  My first breakfast set. 


 

This is perfect if you are getting a play kitchen for that special little girl for Christmas.  After all, what's a kitchen without the food.  Better yet, you won't be stepping on all that hard plastic food all over the floor like I do!  All of my felt foods are made from Eco-felt so they are earth-friendly too!  

I'm thinking of hosting a giveaway too for some of my felt foods....what do you think?

If you notice lately I'm not pisting many pics it's because my only camera is missing thanks to Fifi! I posted about it here.

Another Obsession - Rosette Bib Necklaces

I have quickly developed another obsession for making frayed fabric and ribbon rosettes.  I originally just intended on doing them on headbands but while I was low on supplies one day I decided to make some popular bib necklaces for little girls and they came out fabulous......hence the reason I am now obsessed!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 5 gaziliion pounds of scrap ribbon so I'm hoping to add lots more.  So far these are all on my ETSY shop!

First Bottle Caps

I decided to make some bottle caps on a whim since they seem pretty popular now days and are so easy to customize.  These are the first ones I made and I drilled a hole in top and bottom of each one to be made into necklace charms.  I listed them on my ETSY store just for fun ....Let me know what you guys think or if you have any suggestions.  These ones are sealed with DuraGlosss Clear Varnish.  At first I was using E-Lite Resin but i couldn't get them bubbles out for the life of me.  I'm not sure though that the DuraGloss will be thick enough.  We shall see !!!!

 

These caps are too cute on ball chains.  I actually started making them because I felt a bit guilty for always making stuff for my daughter an not my son.  I thought to myself, "What can I make him ??" Even though he's a bit small yet I made him a really cute Ed Hardy inspired one and a few others too.  They are also great for the little guys on pins to decorate their diaper bags and even bookbags for back-to-school!!! The diesigns pictured are for girls but I will post some pics of the boys ones soon since these have quickly become my new obsession!  I can put almost any design or character on them so let me know what you have in mine and I can make something super special for your little guy or gal!

Sorry it took awhile to post a new giveaway but my old laptop was on the fritz and I'm posting this from another computer.  I just made this beautiful woven headband and clipped on two flower clippies. One large purple one and another small white one. Perfect to go with an easter dress or a party dress....or even for everyday use!!!!! This headband fits toddler and up and could even work for an infant as well. The picture below if of my almost 3 yr. old modeling it and she happns to be pretty petite.

I'm Back !!

Hey everyone we are back from our vacation and resting up till tommorrow when wego back to work :::groans::: This week I will be posting a new giveaway I think everyone will like so stay tuned!

On Vacation....

...for the next week and a half in sunny Florida and Alabama. Right now I'm sitting on the balcony of the San Destin Golf and Resort hotel and OMG this place is amazing! So as some of you know my headstrong 2 year old wants nothing whatsoever to do with a "Popsicle Party" for her upcoming 3rd irthday party in September.  All I can say is "BOOOOOOO"....LOL.  So we are officially going to change to a "Princess and the Frog" party per request from the little princess herself!  Because of that I have decided not only to giveaway the headband I made her for the party but also the dress which is brand new with the tags and everything.  It's so freaking adorable however I only bought it for the party itself.  This dress is perfect if you are throwing a party for your little girl and has the most bright beautiful summer colors!   I posted pics before but here they are again!

M2M Gymboree Citrus Cooler Headband and Removable Flower Clippie

M2M Gymboree Popsicle Party Headband

This headband I made specially for my daughter to match her birthday outfit.  I also made it from just scrap ribbons i had leftover from other projects....lucky for me I had enough to match the colors.  The theme of her birthday is Gymboree's Popsicle Party line.  I took this pic on top of the dress so you can see the pattern.  But now....being a 2.5 year old she says she wants a "Princess and the Frog Party" not a "Popsicle Party".  Go figure!  Sorry for the picture quality on this one.  it looks a bit fuzzy to me.
